KEVIN JONES - Sierra Roc - lead guitarist
Kevin grew up playing guitar and later songwriting in the Boston area music scene — 80’s hair bands, his forté. He considers himself an “intermediate” guitarist, and he is way off the mark on that! The humble man is a monster on lead guitar!!
Kevin and his family moved from the East coast to Reno several years ago, and he recently got the mid-life crisis music itch. When singer/songwriter April Higuera reached out to him in the Spring of 2019, they quickly formed a music alliance and partnered in developing Sierra Roc. Together, they are musically and energetically formidable front persons in the dynamic, high-energy Sierra Roc band.
Kevin is back in the saddle at full meter and with youthful energy offering high level performances as lead guitarist and secondary vocals for Sierra Roc.
As a devoted family man, Kevin prioritizes and enjoys time with his wife and three children, and successfully works for himself as a Real Estate Appraiser.
