SCOTT HUDSON - Sierra Roc - Bass guitarist

Scott grew up in the Reno area and started playing bass when he was 14 years old.  His major influences include Geddy Lee of Rush, John Entwistle of The Who and John Paul Jones from Led Zeppelin.

Scott’s previous performance experience includes Rock and Jazz Fusion.  He was a local session player at Granny’s House Studio in Reno, and also recorded two CDs at Granny’s which received national airplay. Some of the major acts Scott has opened for include: Stevie Ray Vaughn, Stanley Clarke, The Rippingtons, Richard Elliot, Saxon, and Puddle of Mudd.

He is noticeably one of the best bassist talents in Reno, and is the backbone of Sierra Roc. Scott also provides secondary vocals.


Scott is married with two children in college, works in Information Technology for a large healthcare organization, and his hobbies include camping and off-road adventures.
